THE WRITE STUFF:

Writing for self-discovery and self-expression

“I write because I don’t know what I think until I read what I say.” (Flannery O’Connor)

“Writing is an endless self-exploratory operation.” (Harper Lee)

“The Write Stuff” is a weekly one-hour creative writing group facilitated by Jack Shifflett, a published poet, experienced workshop facilitator, and NAMI Missoula’s current Office Manager. Each class will include suggested writing prompts, opportunities for “free writing,” and the chance for participants to share their work and their ideas.

The group will meet on Thursdays from 11:00 to noon at 202 Brooks Street (Room 208). Enter through the courtyard door where you see the “NAMI” sign. The class is free; no registration is required. Call us at 1-406-880-1013 if you have any questions.
